About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join Sentara's Advanced Heart Failure Clinic in Norfolk, VA. Our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are essential to this foundation, and we seek to continue to grow their impact and scope of practice throughout our hospitals. Position Highlights: Join an experienced team of 7 MDs and 5 APPs Primary Location: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Inpatient Duties: Rounding on the AHF service line, admissions, discharges, consults, etc. Outpatient Duties: Routine AHF follow-ups, lab review, and remote device monitoring (e.g., CardioMEMS, HeartLogic, Cardella, CareSense, etc.) Independent panel of up to 14 patients daily Call schedule 1:6 1 year experience required Life in coastal Virginia provides rich and diverse recreational and cultural offerings in addition to fabulous historic sites.
