The Surgical Services Advanced Practice RN (APRN) works collaboratively with division leadership team to implement evidence-based practice throughout the division that complies with current regulatory, accrediting, and professional standards. The APRN develops, implements, and evaluates a division preceptor recruitment and retention program and supports competency assessment and policy development throughout the division by providing literature review and summary of recommendations for best practice to division leaders.
