Rome Health is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant or RNFA to join our growing team. Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Physician's Assistant Program or Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Adult, Acute Care, Family) or RNFA Certification is required. Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks Responsibilities The Surgical Advanced Practice Provider position is primarily focused on clinical management, favorable impact on quality of care and is responsible to participate in all aspects of care of the Surgery patient including physical exams and treatment of illness Surgical Advanced Practice Providers will function in all areas of the pre/ peri and post-operative environment including pre-admission, test review, intra-operative first assisting. Surgical Advanced Practice Providers will use a variety of skills to educate, consult and manage the Surgery patient population and assist the patient/family, and physicians They will work collaboratively with the health care team including Surgery physicians, anesthesiologists, other physicians involved in the surgery patient care, nurses, case management, physical and occupational therapy and with departments affecting the care of the Surgery patient They will work with the Surgeons to implement necessary medical aspects of care including discharges and pain management Rome Health delivers quality, compassionate medical care for every stage of life. Requirements
