About The Position

We are offering a 12-month postgraduate program to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Neurology with a targeted start date of June-September 2026. The Neurology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship engages learners in extensive training in a variety of teaching environments and sub-specialties within neurology. Clinical and didactic experiences focus on honing skills necessary to effectively assess, coordinate, and deliver evidence-based and cost-effective care of chronic neurological diseases and acute neurological conditions. Responsibilities include basic medical duties of performing histories and physicals, formulating an assessment and plan, and providing necessary treatments and procedures. All work is supervised by an attending physician or APC. The APC Fellow will have the opportunity to continue their development of clinical competence and confidence, critical thinking skills, and interprofessional collaboration. This helps APCs successfully integrate into practice at an accelerated rate compared to on-the-job training.
