The Advanced Mechatronics Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing industrial machinery, diagnosing various systems, welding, setting up new machines, running safety and performance tests, collecting data to minimize downtime, and serving as a subject-matter resource on production equipment.

Requirements

• Two-year Associate degree plus 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or mechatronics
• Comfort using a computer to find parts and document work in a CMMS
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and optimize industrial machinery with hand/power tools and precision instruments, following diagrams, manuals, and OEM specs
• Diagnose motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, and production systems
• Weld as needed to complete durable, safe repairs
• Set up and prepare new machines to enter production
• Run safety and performance tests to validate reliability
• Collect performance data, analyze trends, and recommend actions to minimize downtime
• Use the CMMS to open, track, and close work orders
• Serve as a subject-matter resource on production equipment
