About The Position

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will provide technical expertise and support in the materials and process engineering of cast products. Work as part of a highly engaged and integrated Materials Engineering team. You will collaborate across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a technical point of contact for less experienced engineers. You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. This Materials Engineering position will provide support for new and existing cast products including aerospace gas turbine engines used for propulsion and auxiliary power. Primary responsibilities include support for materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of cast parts, as well as regular interaction with suppliers to help resolve issues. May occasionally need to lift 35 pounds single lift.
