About The Position

Role Overview: This role is the single global integrator responsible for end‑to‑end commercialization and manufacturing launch readiness. This leader drives a unified, cross‑functional launch engine—spanning product management, engineering, supply chain, operations, quality, marketing, and regional manufacturing teams—to ensure new products enter the market on time, at scale, at target cost, and at target quality. This role owns the global NPI launch framework, execution governance, manufacturing readiness standards, and cross‑regional integration. Ensures manufacturability, scalability, supply assurance, and product robustness are fully validated before launch, while preserving regional execution ownership and plant‑level accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Global NPI & Launch Program Leadership Lead global, cross‑functional NPI programs from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT and mass production. Own the end‑to‑end NPI launch framework, including phase‑gates, milestones, scorecards, readiness criteria, and governance cadence. Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, engineering release schedules, manufacturing readiness requirements, and business case targets. Run global launch reviews across North America, EMEA, and APAC to drive synchronized execution and issue resolution.
  • Manufacturing Readiness & Launch Execution Lead global readiness reviews covering tooling, capacity, labor, DFM/DFA maturity, yield expectations, and factory validation. Ensure APQP/PPAP readiness, BOM stability, work instructions, process capability, and manufacturing sign‑off before release. Coordinate closely with regional manufacturing engineering teams, maintaining global governance while respecting local execution ownership. Proactively drive risk identification, escalation, mitigation, and cross‑regional alignment on launch blockers.
  • Supply Chain, Quality & Reliability Alignment Ensure supply chain readiness, including risk assessments, dual‑source strategies, component qualification, and lead‑time stability. Collaborate with Quality, Reliability, and Supplier Quality Engineering to validate robustness, enforce release discipline, and minimize early field failures (EFFR). Ensure scalability and operational robustness are designed in early, not inspected in late.
  • Cross‑Functional Integration Act as the primary integrator between Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), Product Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain & Procurement, Quality & SQE, and Plant Operations. Ensure manufacturability, serviceability, and cost‑down pathways are embedded early in the development cycle. Partner with field engineering and customer‑experience teams to ensure early‑access customers receive seamless deployment support and rapid feedback loops.
  • Global Standards, Best Practices & Continuous Improvement Define, maintain, and institutionalize global NPI standards, including APQP, PPAP, tooling readiness, validation frameworks, and launch maturity models. Standardize tools, dashboards, operating mechanisms, and global governance processes across the product portfolio. Drive continuous improvement cycles, capturing lessons learned post‑launch (30/60/90 days) and evolving the global launch playbook.
  • Organizational Leadership Build and lead a global NPI & Launch Readiness organization distributed across regions. Champion operational excellence, cross‑team collaboration, transparency, and predictable execution. Influence at all levels with strong executive presence and clear communication.
