Experience supporting production, testing, and continuous improvement of electro-hydraulic servo valves or similar devices. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of precision manufacturing processes, fluid power systems, and electro-mechanical integration to optimize production workflows, enhance product quality, and drive cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 8 + years of experience in manufacturing for aerospace or similar field
  • 2+ years of experience in managing projects through ideation and technical implementation
  • 2+ years of manufacturing floor support, including troubleshooting equipment like automation, torque tools and fixtures.
  • Lean six sigma green belt

Nice To Haves

  • Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title
  • Lean six sigma black belt
  • Hands on experience in mechanical troubleshooting
  • Manufacturing experience understanding laser marking, braze processes, fixturing and tooling
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • An open, honest, and team-oriented personality
  • Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
  • Willingness to learn new technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of control plans, process maps, PFMEAs
  • Conduct time studies and analyze data to drive process improvements
  • Demonstrated success in process optimization, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Proficient problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Relevant experience in a production/manufacturing engineering role
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement capacity models for investments in advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Managing projects from ideation to implementation.
