About The Position

As an Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement advanced hardware solutions, working on cutting-edge projects that transform industries. Your expertise will shape future technology and industry solutions. Advanced Electrical Design Engineer Honeywell's Ground Support Solutions (GSS) is approximately a $20M dollar business. In this role you will work with a cross-functional team of 14 people based in South Bend, Puerto Rico, Deer Valley, and the Czech Republic that applies their knowledge and expertise to provide tooling and test equipment solutions for commercial and military customers worldwide. As an Advanced Electrical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex engineering projects within the Ground Support Solutions group. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver high-quality products to our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced electrical engineering solutions. You will report directly to our Director of Ground Support Solutions and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in electrical engineering
Proven track record of successfully leading complex electrical engineering projects
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in aerospace engineering
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
