About The Position

Acara Solution is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer for our client, located in Canonsburg, PA . We are seeking an experienced Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our Progeny/M&SS Line of Business. Additionally, this role involves designing and developing complex analog circuits and implementing VHDL code for hardware description. Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control. Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware. Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits, to enhance the performance of electronic systems. Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design. Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with multilayer PCB design
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with high-speed digital design
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience
  • The successful candidate will possess a good background in power system design, electrical hardware integration, troubleshooting, and high-speed digital design
  • Experience in the automotive, medical, or Defense industries
  • Expertise in power system design: DC/DC: Buck Boost LDO AC/DC
  • Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
  • Design of safety-critical circuits
  • Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries
  • Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design
