Advanced Care Attendant
About The Position
Elders Inn is currently seeing Advanced Care Attendants (ACAs) for AM and PM shifts! Pay Rate is $23.50 per hour (rate depends on shift worked) The primary functions of an ACA are: Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks Assist residents with mobility and transfers Take and record vital signs Assist residents in active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity Monitor resident activity and functional status Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort We are looking for employees on AM & PM shifts: AM shift is 6:00am-2:30pm PM shift is 2:30pm-11:00pm Full-time positions work a 4-on, 2-off rotation Part-time positions work either 2-on, 4-off rotation or on-call (PRN) Elders Inn is a licensed 52-suite assisted living community where each day offers a variety of experiences in the company of friends. Elders Inn offers every resident the opportunity to live as independently as possible, accommodating assistive equipment, including wheelchairs, with short distances to dining, activities, and enchanting courtyards. All resident areas are designed and furnished to create easy access that does not sacrifice pleasant amenities for functionality. We are a pet friendly community, residents may have animals in their private apartments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA level training (no license needed) OR 3 years experience in a heavy care environment
- Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based)
- Ability to life 150 pounds
- Current COVID-19 vaccination
- Routine COVID tests
- Physical TB test
- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice
Responsibilities
