Developing and applying computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems, the Advanced CAD Specialist will have the opportunity to help our nation’s heroes make a true impact. You’ll create new and/or revise existing designs, drawings, and bills of material for our products. We’ll depend on you to lead or contribute as an individual technical contributor on a small design or test team. You’ll provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Specialist in the use of the strategic CAD and file management tools (Pro-E/Creo or Solid Works preferred)
  • Accomplished at developing/integrating new ideas, optimizing alternatives, and establishing backup plans
  • Competent in all aspects of respective design domain, mechanical design, part fabrication and assembly of electronics
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
