Position Overview: The Advanced Analytics Manager reports to the leader of the Analytics and Research practice and leads the Advanced Analytics team. This includes overseeing multiple direct reports and external contractors. The team is responsible for deriving actionable insights and rigorously testing business and research hypotheses using diverse data sources, methodologies, and analytical techniques. This role manages data scientists and analysts conducting statistical and machine learning analyses to address research and consulting questions. The Advanced Analytics Manager is expected to independently interpret, tune, and apply machine learning models, operate effectively in large-scale data environments, and leverage advanced statistical and machine learning methods to develop robust, defensible solutions to complex business problems. A core responsibility of the role is coaching and developing team members on these analytical capabilities and best practices. Experience integrating AI-enabled solutions is a plus, but not required. This may include the design and use of AI agents or tools that support research automation, data collection and cleansing, exploratory analysis, or insight generation. Strong communication skills are essential. The Advanced Analytics Manager regularly translates complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for both internal and external stakeholders and actively participates in stakeholder and client meetings. The role collaborates extensively across the firm, including with: Research teams delivering innovative research products and thought leadership Senior internal stakeholders focused on developing proprietary research and intellectual property Technical and developer teams (internal and external) responsible for data engineering and solution development Consulting teams focused on delivering measurable client outcomes This highly cross-functional role, combined with frequent engagement with senior leadership, provides outstanding opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
