About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide private duty nursing for a kind and soft-spoken woman transitioning home from Mary Freebed to her residence in Kalamazoo. She requires 24/7 skilled nursing care along with 24/7 attendant care, with an aide on shift alongside the nurse for additional support. Requirements

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
Experience in home health, private duty, or long-term care preferred
Pediatric or adult care experience a plus (trach/vent knowledge helpful but not required)
Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care, etc.)
Monitor and document vitals, symptoms, and changes in condition
Assist with ADLs such as repositioning, hygiene, mobility, etc.
Support patient well-being with compassionate and attentive care
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team
