Adult Education GED Instructor (part-time) Role: Teaches multilevel High School Equivalency (HSE) classes, administers student assessments, and performs other administrative duties to support student success. This position is funded by a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission. Location: In-Person at Workforce Solutions Denison, Tx The schedule for this position is Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The pay rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
A Bachelor's degree.
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Be proficient in the use of computers (internet, emailing, etc.) and office equipment (copier, scanner, printer, etc.).
Work includes sitting, walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, and travel to various classroom sites as needed.
