About The Position

The Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) Administrator of Family Bridges is responsible for administration and oversight of two Adult Day Health Care Centers. The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the quality of services provided; compliance with state regulations and funding requirements; the maintenance of consistent attendance and enrollment for the centers; and the overall supervision and guidance of staff in the centers. Collaborate with executives to assess the program’s viability, value proposition for improvement, and growth potential, to align with the organization’s mission.

Requirements

  • At least 8 to 10 years of supervisory experience.
  • A degree in social work, health, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with adult day health care programs.
  • Skilled in managing conflicts and supervising complex, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal regulations is desirable.
  • Excellent compassionate communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Cantonese is essential.
  • Ability to see and hear clearly in interactions with others.
  • Must be able to attend meetings away from program sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with senior services for clients with limited English proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • To supervise the ADHC Program Directors and Clinical Supervisors.
  • To ensure compliance with Department of Health Services and Medi-Cal regulations.
  • To oversee licensure and activities related to licensing surveys.
  • One point-of-contact with Government Agencies.
  • To maintain and develop network relationships with the Adult Day Healthcare network, Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Plans, California Association of Adult Day Care, and Alameda Alliances. Collaborating with other rival associations, and community partners.
  • other trade associations, funders and community providers.
  • Establish annual and bi-annual budgets, manage procurements, and oversee facilities’ maintenance.
  • To oversee the Average Daily Attendance (ADA) of the two centers according to the ADA specified in the yearly budget.
  • To develop staffing plans and hire for the two ADHC programs, oversee personnel management, and conduct annual performance reviews for each supporting staff.
  • To ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate submissions of Treatment Authorization Request (TARS).
  • To oversee the efficiency and quality of all departmental activities at the ADHC, including but not limited to: Nursing, Social Work, Nutrition, Activities, Rehab, Admin Staff, Drivers, and Program Aides.
  • To oversee Information & Assistance (I & A) meetings and ensure the review processes are completed and documented on time.
  • To oversee and coordinate regularly in-service staff training as required for licensing.
  • To maintain and update the centers’ policies and procedures annually or as needed.
  • Other dedications directed by the Chief Operating Officer.
