We have an exciting opportunity for a SUD Supervisor to join our team of talented professionals. We have a market-based compensation structure. The estimated salary for this position will vary based on a candidate's transferable work experience and qualifications. This is a salary grade 110. As a SUD Supervisor in the Adult Behavioral Health Program, you will be responsible for the following: The Supervisor will be responsible for all administrative and clinical functioning of the program. This shall include all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by the program. Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. Flexible scheduling is available. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs. Will provide after hours coverage for crisis calls to support program staff as needed.

Requirements

The Supervisor in the Adult Outpatient Program will possess a Master’s degree from an accredited social services program with a full licensure in the State of Michigan.
Candidate must be eligible for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential at time of hire.
Must have a Certified Advanced Addictions Credential or have the ability to be approved for a professional development plan through MCBAP within 30 days of hire.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders is required.
Must demonstrate job experience and competence in individual, family and group mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
Demonstrate competence in working in a collaborative way with clients and community, cultural competence, good organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data.
Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of our clients, staff members and all of the programs represented at The Guidance Center.
Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.

Nice To Haves

Specific experience working in a community mental health setting and knowledge of community resources is preferred.
