Adolescent Counselor (PHP – Daytime Role) Location: High Focus Centers – Havertown, PA Salary: $53,000–$55,000/year (based on experience and credentials) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (In-Person) About High Focus Centers High Focus Centers in Havertown is a leading provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our dedicated team delivers individualized, evidence-based care to help adolescents build stability, resilience, and long-term recovery. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Adolescent Counselor to join our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and outpatient team. Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (required).
  • Training: Completion of a clinically based internship/practicum (required).
  • Experience: Previous counseling experience working with adolescents in a treatment setting (required)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daytime PHP and outpatient group therapy sessions for adolescents, incorporating CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
  • Conduct 6–8 Level of Care Assessments per week in accordance with program standards.
  • Provide individual and family therapy to support client progress and strengthen support systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and treatment team members to develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings to review client progress and coordinate care.
  • Complete insurance reviews and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
  • Support day-to-day program operations and assist with additional clinical needs as assigned.
