Position: Adolescent PHP Therapist – Mental Health & Co-Occurring Disorders Location: High Focus Centers – Paoli, PA Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, In-Person Salary: $54,000–$56,000 annually Support Recovery. Change Lives. High Focus Centers in Paoli is seeking a Full-Time Therapist to join our adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This role offers the opportunity to provide structured, clinically rich care to adolescents navigating mental health challenges and co-occurring disorders (COD). You’ll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
  • Completion of a clinically focused internship required
  • Experience working with adolescent populations required
  • Experience with mental health or co-occurring disorder treatment preferred
  • Knowledge of evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, family therapy approaches) is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced multidisciplinary treatment setting

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for adolescents addressing mental health and co-occurring concerns, including psychoeducation, skill-building, and process groups
  • Provide individual and family therapy to support emotional regulation, coping skills, and healthy interpersonal relationships
  • Conduct Level of Care Assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
  • Develop, maintain, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Participate in daily clinical team meetings and coordinate care with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and program leadership
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation in compliance with licensing and insurance requirements
  • Support adolescents through structured interventions, exposure work, and skill application in real-world scenarios
  • Foster a safe, structured therapeutic environment that encourages engagement, accountability, and meaningful progress
  • Perform additional clinical duties as assigned
