Job Summary The Solutions Technical Specialist is customer and sales facing, pre-sales technologist that acts as a value-added technical advocate for CDW sellers and customers. The Technical Specialist is responsible for understanding customers’ business requirements as they pertain to client or end-point technologies (including devices such as notebooks or desktops, hardware components, software, operating systems, etc.), qualifying opportunities and creating designs that match the requirements with appropriate products, managed and professional services. The Technical Specialist has subject matter expertise of endpoint or client solutions and has a basic awareness of adjacent technology solutions. In addition, a Technical Specialist is competent at positioning implementation services within their line of business (LOB).
