Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and their families during the admission process, providing clear information and answering questions.
  • Collect, verify, and enter patient demographic, insurance, and medical information accurately into the healthcare facility's electronic systems.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to confirm patient appointments, bed availability, and admission requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies related to patient privacy and data security.
  • Manage admission documentation, including consent forms and financial agreements, and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Maintain organized records and generate reports related to admissions as required by management.
