About The Position

Full Time Admitting/Receptionist/PBX Position.  Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Primary duties while admitting include gathering patient and insurance data and entering into our computer system as well as discussing finances with the patient and collecting fees.  As receptionist he/she will greet every patient or customer that arrives in the lobby of TSJH and electronically notify the Admissions office of arrival. As the PBX operator, you must be able to handle a high volume of calls, route these to the proper department, as well as greet every patient, customer and vendor that arrives at our facility. This position is responsible for activating code and alarm procedures which can involve handling emergency situations.  One year’s previous healthcare experience required.  Excellent phone voice, computer skills, professional appearance, and customer service skills are also required.  Ability to multitask under pressure.
