Admit- Discharge Coordinator
About The Position
The Williamsport Home Skilled Nursing is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate RN to join our team as an Admissions RN. In this role, you'll work closely with our administrative team to ensure a seamless admission/discharge process for our residents and their families. This position is a 7am-7pm position, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, on-call every 4th weekend in a scheduled rotation. Pay based on experience, sign-on bonus eligible, tuition reimbursement eligible, Medical/Vision/Dental/403b benefits eligible, opportunities to pick-up additional shifts as needed. Position Summary: The primary function of this position is to facilitate admissions and discharges in the skilled nursing facility. Complying with all federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations which govern the facility, and, as directed by the Director of nursing Services and/or the Administrator so as to ensure each resident’s medical, psychosocial and spiritual needs and wishes are met.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and in possession of a valid license issued by the Commonwealth of PA.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a long term care setting.
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to follow oral and written direction.
