About The Position

We help students build bilingual fluency, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to apply their learning in real-world settings and any career path. What You’ll Do: The Admissions Support Associate provides general support on a wide variety of duties to the Admissions department. Duties are varied, but primarily include candidates' support, application and initial screening, and teacher communications before they are assigned to their Admissions Specialist. Maintains high-quality customer service with all applicants and potential leads interested in participation and manages candidate documents, ensuring quality control of them and confidentiality. Works closely with all Admissions team members to support Admissions' needs. The Admissions Support Associate reports to the Admissions Manager and is a hybrid position with three (3) days/week in the office.

  • Ability to understand, apply, and interpret program rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing program acceptance.
  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Education, International Studies, or related majors preferred.
  • Computer skills: familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Google Docs, and the ability to quickly become proficient in new technologies are required.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel as required by the business needs and/or for professional development.
  • Confidentiality: Must use professional discretion and ensure that the confidentiality of personal & professional information of program participants is maintained.

Nice To Haves

  • Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and French language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • General support to the Admissions team.
  • Phone, email/intercom communications with applicants/prospects on a daily basis by providing guidance and information to potential leads with the goal of generating teacher candidates to help meet company placement goals.
  • Supports application review on a weekly basis to meet the individual and team's annual goals.
  • Support document review for candidates approved post- interview. This includes maintaining high-quality standards in reviewing submitted documentation and ensuring thoroughness in the information recorded in Salesforce.
  • Completes initial screening calls for new regions: Kenya/Ghana/Philippines, and any other as needed.
  • Assists with reference verification calls as needed.
  • Reviews and edits teacher video clips for presentation to school clients.
  • Assists with Pardot communications and WordPress, editing internal Admissions messages and webpages.
  • Handles credential evaluation requests through our external credential evaluator, Foundation for International Services (FIS), for all placed teachers, and follows the internal procedure to document it in Salesforce.
  • Handles ClearStar requests for teachers who need an additional criminal record check for tasks created by Admissions Specialists.
  • Assist with ACTFL reports by sending corresponding test coupons (OPI and WPT) to teachers when placed, as needed.
  • Collaborates on following up with teachers pending the first and second interviews, as needed.
  • Assist in organizing licensure documents or other licensure-related duties.
  • Assist in handling and monitoring tasks, training for interns, new assistants, or consultants when needed.
  • Active facilitator in the Admissions Community of Practice in any role needed.
  • May represent Participate Learning at recruitment events and collaborates and participates in virtual Admissions live calls as required.
  • Participate in Orientation teacher events as required by the organization.
