About The Position

The Montessori Academy of Colorado is a metropolitan school that engages each child through innovative academics, exploration of character, and a fearless, forward mindset. The Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) seeks a dynamic, relational, and growth-minded professional to serve as Admissions Associate. This in person role partners closely with the Head of School and the admissions team to support enrollment growth, strengthen the parent journey, and expand outreach efforts in the community to support all program levels. This role is ideal for an emerging admissions or enrollment professional ready to take the next step in leadership within an independent school setting. The Admissions Associate supports the strategic and relational work of enrollment management at MAC. This individual works directly with prospective families, helps execute outreach initiatives, supports admissions events, and ensures a high-touch, mission-aligned parent experience from inquiry through enrollment. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, persuasive, action-oriented and confident in communicating educational value. This role requires both strong interpersonal skills and attention to systems, business insights, data, and making informed quality decisions.

Requirements

  • Up to 3-5 years as an Admissions & Enrollment Management professional
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in independent schools, admissions, enrollment management, or sales
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attentively listens to others. Adjusts to fit the audience and the message. Provides timely and helpful information to others across the organization. Encourages the open expression of diverse ideas and opinions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and cultivate trust
  • Comfort with value-based conversations in a tuition-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems or enrollment databases
  • Experience using Zoom and Google Suite to organize team meetings, virtual tours and presentations
  • Experience using Canva and building presentation slides or marketing collateral
  • Commitment to Montessori philosophy and mission-aligned education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an independent or Montessori school setting
  • Membership with AISAP or other professional group
  • Experience conducting tours or leading parent-facing presentations
  • Background in marketing, collaboration or community outreach

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective families
  • Conduct personal and group tours and represent MAC with professionalism and warmth
  • Guide families through inquiry, application, and enrollment steps
  • Ensure timely, clear, and responsive communication throughout the admissions process
  • Support onboarding and transition communications for newly enrolled families
  • Plan and support admissions events at MAC
  • Work with the Admissions team to expand Elementary and Middle School enrollment
  • Assist in executing outreach initiatives, school fairs, and community events
  • Build relationships with prospective families and community partners
  • Help identify opportunities to broaden awareness of MAC within the Denver market
  • Clearly and confidently articulate the benefits of a Montessori education
  • Help families understand the progression from MAC Early Childhood through MAC Middle School
  • Support tuition and value conversations in alignment with school philosophy
  • Partner with marketing to ensure messaging remains aligned and compelling
  • Maintain accurate records within the school’s CRM or admissions database
  • Support tracking of inquiry, application, and enrollment data
  • Assist with reporting and admissions metrics as needed
  • Help ensure consistent processes and documentation within the admissions office
  • Set objectives to align with broader organizational goals.
  • Break down annual objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions.
  • Support budget setting and enrollment forecasting with the Business Office
  • Work closely with the Head of School to budget, predict and meet enrollment goals
  • Collaborate with Program Directors and faculty to support admissions events and student transitions
  • Contribute positively to the broader administrative and leadership team
