Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months experience or equivalent in hospital admissions preferred.
  • Experience in admissions or healthcare setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance and payor processes a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outpatient admissions and scheduling.
  • Process new admissions.
  • Verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
  • Communicate with patients and families.
  • Manage records, documentation, and billing processes.
  • Collect co-pays and complete daily reconciliations.
