Admissions Registered Nurse, Home Health
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Per Diem Weekend Admissions RNs to join their team in Essex County, NJ. The role involves delivering high-quality home health care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. As a Start of Care nurse, you will be prepared to succeed and deliver exceptional care, expanding your clinical skills by caring for clinically complex patients in their homes. This position focuses on performing 1-3 Start of Care visits per day in a small geographical territory, providing one-on-one patient care.
Requirements
- A current NJ nursing license in good standing
- At least one year of related experience
- Comfortable utilizing an EMR
- Experience with OASIS documentation
- Conducting Start of Care visits

Responsibilities
- Care for patients one-on-one using nursing and critical thinking skills
- Learn and expand clinical skills caring for clinically complex level patients in the home
- Perform 1-3 Start of Care visits per day in a small geographical territory, focusing on 1:1 care with each patient
- Deliver 1:1 skilled nursing, intervention, and supportive care in accordance with individual care plan, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and comfort care
- Perform client assessments, provide education to the patient and/or their family, and monitor patients' condition
