About The Position

The Division of Enrollment Management is looking for an Admissions Officer I to support prospective student engagement and enrollment at the University of Florida. In this role, you will serve as a frontline ambassador, guiding students through the admissions process and helping them take the next step in their academic journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to prospective students through phone calls (inbound/outbound call center), emails, text, and other communication channels.
  • Effectively oversee the prospective student pipeline to optimize enrollment outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with university-wide policies, legislative statutes, and state regulations related to enrollment issues.
  • Record all student communication in the CRM system for documentation and analysis.
  • Travel to and actively participate in recruitment events, including transfer and college fairs. Travel is typically during the day but is occasionally overnight. This involves the operation of a state vehicle.
  • Deliver in-person or virtual informational presentations and engage with prospective students, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Engage with special populations and constituents to enhance student recruitment and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to offer accurate and current information about UF Online academic programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
