About The Position
Join our team as a Night Shift Intake Specialist! You will handle admissions, clinical intake assessments, and insurance verifications to ensure smooth patient transitions. Work closely with Counseling and Nursing departments to provide top-notch care. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) required
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills are essential.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment is preferred.
- Familiarity with managed care, level-of-care assessments, and utilization reviews is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Screen potential patients and assess eligibility.
- Verify insurance benefits and secure funding.
- Coordinate admissions and communicate with staff.
- Maintain accurate records for authorizations.
- Serve as a liaison between departments.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
