About The Position

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Admitting/Discharge RN is responsible for the admission/discharge process on a specific unit, for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process; provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates; practices in accordance with hospital and divisional guidelines and procedures, as well as the Mission and Philosophy of the Hospital and the sponsors. The RN reports to the Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• Must be graduate of a RN program: Diploma Program, Associate Degree in Nursing, BSN, MSN.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Indiana.
• Pass NLN Medication Exam.
• At Least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS provider
