About The Position

This position is responsible for recruiting and admitting first-year, transfers, international, and graduate students into the University.

Requirements

  • Ability to build and develop relationships.

  • Ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.
  • Ability to critically think and use data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to work remotely and utilize digital tools.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to work evening hours and weekends.
  • Ability to carry up to 15lbs.
  • Ability to drive and travel to locations in recruiting area(s) (must have a valid driver’s license).
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • One to two years of related or transferable experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact for students and families through in-person interactions at high schools, community colleges, and on-campus events—guiding them through the application and admission process and providing clear information on programs and requirements.
  • Represent the University at recruitment events, college fairs, and information sessions—delivering engaging presentations and building authentic connections with prospective students.
  • Evaluate completed applications for admission decisions and corresponding credit evaluations, ensuring timely and thorough review.
  • Cultivate relationships with school counselors, community-based organizations, and other key influencers to strengthen the University’s visibility and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with campus partners across academic departments, student services, and signature programs to support prospective and admitted students through the enrollment process.
  • Plan and host on-campus and regional events, such as open houses, admitted student days, and workshops designed to engage students and families throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Provide individualized follow-up and counseling to prospective students to support application completion, enrollment decision-making, and successful transition to the University.
  • Contribute to strategic recruitment initiatives—including territory management, communication campaigns, and yield/melt efforts that drive enrollment goals.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned in support of the Admissions team and University enrollment objectives.
