About The Position

As part of the Field Admissions department on campus at Lincoln Tech East Windsor, CT, this position is responsible for one or more of the following: managing admissions data, acting as a first point of contact for prospective students, helping prospective students complete paperwork, following up with newly enrolled students, guiding students through the necessary procedures they must complete before starting classes, and general Admissions department support. Individuals in this position will perform a combination of the duties and responsibilities listed below.

Requirements

  • Ability to produce routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, employees, and managers
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, coordinate and lead bus tours, admissions tracking, campus tours, workshops, new student orientation, and special events.
  • Follow up on inquiries by future students and discuss training needs with students and their parents.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of scholarship testing.
  • Complete various Admissions reports, paperwork, and correspondence.
  • Maintain communication with prospective students throughout the enrollment process. Uncover and assist in resolving any potential issues and assist in resolving.
  • Maintain and verify the database recording new student information.
  • Provide overall support to the Admissions Department, which may include, but is not limited to, enrolling students as needed.
