About The Position

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large Skilled Nursing facility (180+ beds) in New Rochelle, NY that is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to add to their staff. The Coordinator is a liaison between the Nursing Home and Hospitals, Assisted Living homes, Agencies and Community Organizations (among others) to secure referrals. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, and enjoys being a facilitator to a number of internal and external entities. The Coordinator should have experience and a working relationship working with White Plains hospital The position reports to a Director of Admissions. Salary is commensurate with experience. Requirements

At least one year of experience in an Admissions department.
Skilled Nursing Home experience a mus t.
Prior experience working with Social Workers, Discharge Planners, and Case Managers at White Plains Hospital
Ability to read PRI reports
Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with two years of experience in an administrative position
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, along with exceptional interpersonal skills
Self-motivated problem solver who works well both independently and as a team member
Detailed orientated and process strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Assists in the coordination of all admission activities and documentation with all respective departments
Assists in the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and overall operations of the admissions department
Manager daily census and associated reports
Follow-up on qualified leads from Physicians, Social Workers, Families and any other referral sources
Represent the Nursing Home in marketing the facility to interested parties, gives tours and responds to requests for information.
