Your expertise helps ensure each individual is assessed thoughtfully and directed to the most appropriate level of care.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences or related field required
  • Must have experience of 2+ years
  • Computer proficient with previous heavy data entry experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inpatient setting preferred
  • Two years in Intake/Triage/Admissions preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients presenting with psychiatric or behavioral health concerns, including both voluntary and involuntary cases
  • Use your clinical judgement to determine medical necessity and recommend alternative levels of care when appropriate
  • Gather an evaluate key information for insurance providers, including competing precertifications
  • Respond to and triage incoming calls, providing timely guidance and follow-up to patients, families, and referral sources
