Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences or related field required
Must have experience of 2+ years
Computer proficient with previous heavy data entry experience

Nice To Haves

Experience in inpatient setting preferred
Two years in Intake/Triage/Admissions preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients presenting with psychiatric or behavioral health concerns, including both voluntary and involuntary cases
Use your clinical judgement to determine medical necessity and recommend alternative levels of care when appropriate
Gather an evaluate key information for insurance providers, including competing precertifications
Respond to and triage incoming calls, providing timely guidance and follow-up to patients, families, and referral sources
