This position provides administrative and HR support across a variety of functions. Responsibilities may include: Answering incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel Greeting job applicants and reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy Conducting reference checks and verifying previous employment for prospective Team Members Posting job opportunities and responding to questions regarding open positions Scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication Distributing department mail and preparing forms, memos, correspondence, and meeting minutes Entering new hire, rehire, termination, and Team Member change information into HR systems Assisting with new Team Member orientation Responding to Team Member questions regarding payroll, policies, benefits, and general HR matters Completing employment verifications for current and former Team Members Ensuring driver DOT compliance, including maintaining files, coordinating physicals and CDL renewals, documenting DOT‑related accidents, and calculating data for driver safety awards Compiling data and generating reports as needed Maintaining confidential personnel records Ordering office and department supplies Performing other duties as assigned DIFFICULTY OF DUTIES Work involves occasional non‑routine assignments and requires sound judgment in selecting appropriate procedures. The role includes organizing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and choosing effective methods to complete work efficiently.
