About The Position

To assist and train under the Administrator on the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern nursing facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ or six months from completion
  • Texas Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Or completion of 15 academic credit hours in long-term care administration, according to NAB requirements and completion of 1,000 hours in an (AIT) internship with a DADS-approved preceptor (Internship may be completed while employed within first 6 months of employment)
  • Skills: The required skills such as organizational ability and communication are essential for managing daily administrative tasks and ensuring smooth information flow within the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office enables the candidate to create, edit, and manage documents and presentations efficiently.
  • Adaptability and multitasking skills are crucial for handling diverse responsibilities and shifting priorities throughout the workday.
