About The Position

The Administrator in Training maintains and controls community expenses, over departments under his/her direct supervision. Assists the Vice President, Senior Administrator, or Administrator with duties related to State and Federal Regulations. Actively engages with family members, residents, to problem solve and resolve community resident concerns. Communicates with the Vice President, Senior Administrator on matters needing consent/approval. Initiates evaluations and salary adjustments for direct reports. Assists with ensuring all corporate directed initiatives are implemented. Project manages a mutually agreed upon effort to improve the facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Health Care Administration
  • Actively applying for and obtaining Missouri and Illinois Nursing Home Administrator's License within nine months
  • Minimum of three years of management and related health care experience
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of functions and relationships of departments within a nursing home environment
  • Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral communication, visual acuity
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruption

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred
