About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities the incumbent is responsible for managing internal and external projects, insuring that completion date timelines are met and budgets are strictly adhered to. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the proper filing of all permits and licenses, negotiating and obtaining bids, reviewing contracts for projects to be submitted to the Director of Facilities for approval. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Should have experience with payroll, departmental budgeting, and purchasing (will be a responsibility). Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with building maintenance/construction/casino administration or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of various software industry applications.
  • Must be able to lead and motivate staff
  • Must have strong financial background of basic accounting principles
  • Must have strong negotiating skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Four (4) year degree preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well-rounded background.
