About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. You will be joining a dynamic team that supports the risk business, handles and evaluates claims related to national and international accounts, and provides quality service as a Marsh representative. You will receive training and mentorship to learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry, including the day-to-day operations of our company. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop the skills necessary to support the growth and success of our business. Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

Requirements

• Degree in Law
• Have a detail oriented and organized profile
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft tools

Responsibilities

• Work directly with one of Marsh's international account
• Evaluate claims related to liability and property insurance
• Follow up processes in order to cover, decline or ask for more documentation in order to re-evaluate
• Reply to standard customer inquiries regarding the products and services the Company offers
• Answer, document and monitor calls, emails and transactions
• Track client information and log data in spreadsheets to assist with monitoring claim activity
