The position provides high-level administrative and clerical support to an executive to achieve corporate goals and objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and schedules, analyzing and supporting information requests, drafting correspondence; , managing expenses, payment requests, assisting in the processing of property tax payments and preparation of sales and use tax exemption certificates. The position involves contact with executive staff of the company, the general public, vendors, governmental agencies, accounting and law firms, senior management and co-workers. MidAmerican Energy Company, a Midwest utility, provides regulated electric and natural gas service to more than 1.6 million customers in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. The company owns and operates a portfolio of power-generating assets, approximately 61% of which is wind generation.
