About The Position

The contractor will provide broad administrative support for scientific and institutional events, along with general office and project coordination. Responsibilities include coordinating small projects and tracking related resources; maintaining departmental files, records, and archival systems with appropriate confidentiality; supporting the preparation of reports, proposals, grants, presentations, and other documentation; handling routine administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, meeting support, expense reporting, supply coordination, and work orders; responding to inquiries and resolving routine issues; maintaining spreadsheets and other office systems; assisting with basic event operations; and providing general team support, including guidance on standard operating procedures as needed. This role involves handling confidential data, coordinating communications, and managing small projects with precision and professionalism. Experience working in events or philanthropic industries is ideal.
