About The Position

We are hiring for a detailed and relational Office Assistant to join our team in Spokane, WA. As the Office Assistant, you will provide support to all members of the Inland team while building and maintaining a great working rapport. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day front office operations.

Requirements

  • Must be a team player who takes a “we over me” approach to building and sustaining relationships with others.
  • Must be proactive, resourceful, and organized in day-to-work routine.
  • Must be determined, ambitious, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or office setting.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and insured, operable vehicle.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming first impression for visitors, vendors, and employees as they enter the office.
  • Ensure the office is well-kept and always organized.
  • Receive and route incoming phone calls, mail, packages, emails, and faxes; prepare mail and packages for outbound shipping.
  • Assist with monthly administrative duties (expense reports, accounting, etc.).
  • Maintain conference rooms, kitchen, and common areas; ensuring they are adequately stocked, clean and organized.
  • Manage scheduling for conference rooms meetings and monitor availability.
  • Order, stock, and maintain inventory for office supplies, printer ink/tonner, coffee, and break room supplies and snacks.
  • Update company directories, calendars, office map, parking map, and current job list and distribute accordingly.
  • Organize and plan monthly catered lunches for the office.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating various events throughout the year.
  • Send out monthly anniversary and birthday cards for associates.
  • Provide monthly support to accounting as requested.
  • Maintain filing system and provide various project support as requested.
  • Respond to administrative inquiries and questions, among other duties assigned.
