About The Position

The Administrative Support Supervisor will serve as the assistant to the Department Head of Curriculum and Instruction (CIED. This position works with a team to provide administrative support and services to the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. The Administrative Support Supervisor supervises staff, ensure office coverage, handles special events and monitors the two CIED buildings with room reservations. This position will also provide support for academic programs and students through the supervision of two staff members. Ensures Curriculum and Instruction academics run smoothly by coordinating/scheduling all academic classes and ensuring all Graduate Faculty Status applications are complete for faculty, lecturers, and graduate students. This is an in-person position working 8AM - 5PM Monday – Friday. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least two years of experience in administrative support
  • Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualifications.
  • One year in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  • Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty
