About The Position

Our administrative support specialist is a professional who is involved in the office management, clerical tasks, and back-office duties of the organization. To run the office smoothly, administrative support specialists must manage the purchasing and inventory of office supplies as well as schedule the maintenance of office equipment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of related work experience.
  • A combination of completed education and/or related work experience equal to two (2) years is required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct visitors.
  • Resolve routine administrative problems relative to the department requesting.
  • Assist in setting appointments for clients and staff members.
  • Provide positive tenant and visitor interaction by quickly responding to questions and requests for information.
  • Accept, screen, and route telephone calls.
  • Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including data entry and the drafting, editing, and revision of letters, reports, and other materials.
  • Perform various administrative support functions including printing, room scheduling, and submitting work orders.
  • Order and inventory all supplies, educational materials, and promotional items.
  • May provide administrative support for scheduling meetings and taking minutes as well as assistance with special events.
  • Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
