What do our Fleet Administrative Support Professionals do? The Fleet Administrative Support Professional (FASP) position is a full-time position providing a wide range of support and performing work assignments for the Rentokil North America Fleet Department. The FASP position requires a dedication to the highest level of customer service, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to guide and train others. The FASP will be the primary contact for addressing fleet-related issues with frontline colleagues. The FASP will be considered a subject matter expert on our various fleet systems and processes necessary to facilitate training. The FASP will adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and respond positively to new and alternative systems. The person in this role will be responsible for other assignments on an as needed basis, commensurate with the position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ Years Customer Service/Problem Solving Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later, or office applications including Google Suite
  • Ability to determine when to escalate the issue to management
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be able to work the required days and hours for the position, which may include mandatory overtime due to business needs, especially during the peak seasons of the business.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently respond to and resolve large volumes of daily fleet requests while maintaining calm demeanor and positive attitude
  • Review and authorize maintenance and repair decisions on vehicles within company guidelines
  • Direct internal requests to proper contacts as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to help streamline processes and solve problems
  • Effectively administer a variety of worksheets and provide up-to-date status of the current position
  • Coordinate transfers, disposals, and vehicle deliveries with vendors and local office management
  • Build strong professional relationships with local office managers, department heads, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow
  • Ability to communicate and enforce fleet policies and procedures
  • Work with internal colleagues and vendors to ensure fleet compliance with various government departments/requirements, (i.e., DOT, DMV, MVRs, etc.)
