About The Position

Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital in McKinney is an innovative, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered healthcare services to our community. As a 26-bed in-patient rehab hospital, we are committed to setting new standards in patient care and rehabilitation. We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability, structured as a 5-day work week, 8am - 5pm. Candidates must be able to work one of the following schedule options: Wednesday through Sunday or Saturday through Wednesday Both schedules include weekend coverage and are designed to support operational needs across the hospital. Job Responsibilities: Provides administrative/clinical support to the Prospective Payment System (PPS) / IRF-PAI and IRF Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) departments. This role integrates clinical documentation review, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and medical review submission processes for Medicare. The position serves as the primary operational liaison between the facility, Novitas, CMS, and internal clinical and billing teams. Job Responsibilities: Provide administrative and operational support to hospital leadership and department managers. Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and prepare reports and correspondence. Support onboarding logistics, including new hire documentation and scheduling requirements. Track employee health files, training compliance, and credentialing documentation. Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS). Assist with audit preparation and regulatory survey documentation. Serve as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and workflow. Support process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
