About The Position

To supervise administrative support staff, assigned to the Juvenile Justice Division, and ensure workflow operations meet the needs of the unit, in addition to providing support to the Office Manager and Assistant States Attorneys assigned to the Juvenile Division.

Requirements

  • The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The candidate must have excellent organizational skills
  • The candidate must be able to multi-task
  • The candidate must be able to manage a high-volume caseload daily
  • The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word applications

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Clerks, SharePoint, and Justice Nexis systems
  • Typing speed of 50+wpm

Responsibilities

  • Supervise administrative assistants assigned to the Juvenile Justice Division
  • Supervise administrative assistant working weekends and holiday bond court
  • Prepare schedules for Overnight/Duty bond court
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, work product and performance
  • Prepare and administer all evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • Prepare statistical reports upon request
  • Perform duties assigned to administrative staff when necessary
  • Address issues within the Bureau and Division when necessary
  • Work directly with outside agencies
  • Work directly with Bureau Chief, Division Chief, ASA Supervisors, and Office Manager
  • Maintain file room
  • Responsible for inventory evidence
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
