About The Position

Provide administrative functions for the Corporate Operations department at Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC). These efforts directly relate to resource and administrative functions for the Plant Property Division at facility.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 Lbs. in support of this position.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Possess a minimum of one year of administrative support experience.
• Proficient in the use of office equipment, including computers, scanners, fax and copiers.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Teams), Microsoft Edge, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Skilled with oral and written communications
• Possess well-developed time management and schedule coordination skills.
• The ability to work professionally with individuals, diverse groups, and the public
• DOD Secret Clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Collect program information from program technical and administrative specialists, enter the data in both manual and automated information systems, search and retrieve information in support of program requirements, provide information management support to personnel in the department.
• Process and track government assets utilizing IT systems associated with the procurement of government equipment.
• Provide metrics, graphs, reports pertaining to inventory of government assets.
• Maintain a valid drivers license and insurance in good standing. Member cannot have more than two driving incidents within the last calendar year.
• Able to drive government vehicles in support of transporting plant property material.
• Able to obtain a forklift operator qualification/license.
