Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing and overseeing various administrative tasks, providing essential support to staff, and assisting with coordinating meetings and activities within the Office of the President. This includes acting as a welcoming presence for external visitors and ensuring smooth operations during the District Board of Trustees' regular and special meetings. The role involves troubleshooting issues on the day of meetings, assisting with coordination between the Office of the President and the senior leadership team, and performing administrative tasks such as ordering supplies. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple complex tasks efficiently, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. ______________________ This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295.
