The Family Services Division of the Department for Children & Families in St. Albans is seeking an Administrative Services Technician IV to join our team of dedicated staff in supporting children, families and communities. Our goal is to promote safety, permanency, wellbeing and law abidance for children in need. Your work will help Family Service Workers and other staff achieve this mission. The work we do is meaningful, challenging and critical to the safety and well-being of Vermont's children and families. The ideal candidate will be flexible, maintain a positive and professional attitude, have confidence in Excel and Word, and enjoy learning and using new systems. The work is fast paced, requiring prompt data entry and document submissions, and this position is often the first contact that the public has with the local FSD office. Other work may include: developing and maintaining documents and spreadsheets, coding and submitting invoices, managing and tracking files, answering phones, greeting clients, maintaining the upkeep and service records for District Fleet vehicles, supporting staff with office needs and other assigned tasks.
